Lovemaking

It seems like our culture knows nothing about making love. It has lost it’s sacredness and has been replaced with an over indulgence and perversion when it comes to sex. Our association to it is so unhealthy that it has become acceptable to use sex as leverage, manipulation or even abuse it’s no wonder there is so much shame around sex.

If what we put into it is what we get out of it then maybe it is time to work on loving ourselves first before being intimate with another. Lovemaking is meant to be an honest reflection of our innermost self. A healthy expression of sex means having a profound interaction with someone we care for. Whether we are creating a relationship, a pregnancy or sharing the most sacred space with another, lovemaking is natural and necessary for the legacy of creation.
