Parting

Why is it that going your separate ways or leaving someone you love and care about so hard. Is it when you know you will see them again easier to walk away? Think about how many people you said goodbye not knowing that would be the last time you ever saw them. Is it the not knowing it was final make it easier? People are parting from each other daily. It is the norm to wake up and go off to work or school or the gym knowing your loved ones will return home at the end of day. Maybe we should take more time to say the things we feel before parting and celebrate the homecomings a little more.
