Ordinary

My ordinary is someone’s extraordinary and vice versa. Ordinary could be described as sameness or normalness but it is not good or bad. Sometimes we wish to break free form the ordinary. Other times we want nothing more than the predictability of ordinary.

Maybe that is because within the ordinary we are more open to finding something extraordinary. By welcoming the unexpected it looses its shock value and we become more receptive. It feels natural to wonder what new exciting events will unfold in our day. If nothing else it is reason to want to get out of bed.

This does not diminish the magic when we discover something extraordinary. Instead it becomes a part of daily life. We embrace the everyday with new hope for something more than we are expecting. Maybe even something we thought was impossible shows us anything is possible. Have faith in the ordinary.
